Total traded value on AIX in August was USD 12 mln, KZT 5.1 bln

Astana International Exchange (AIX) presents its market operational update for August 2021. Total traded value for the period was USD 12,095,605.8 equivalent to KZT 5,143,769,330.78[1].

The AIXQI index ended August at 1034.42 points, with an increase of 4.07% month-to-month. Stocks of 6 out of 8 companies in the index grew by the end of the month. Among those, the best performance explained by the release of strong reports for the first half of this year were demonstrated by the shares of Bank CenterCredit, Halyk Bank and Kazakhtelecom, their prices increased by 14.74%, 13.25% and 12.75%, respectively. There were 2 companies in the negative zone – KazTransOil and Polymetal with share price delice of 5.73% and 7.89%, respectively.
