Astana International Exchange (“AIX”, “Exchange”) is pleased to announce that ordinary shares (the “Shares”) of the National Company KazMunayGas (“the KMG”), the leading vertically integrated oil and gas company in Kazakhstan, have been listed on the AIX. Shares shall be traded under “KMG” ticker and will be quoted and settled in KZT.
BCC-Invest, Freedom Finance, Halyk Finance, Sky Bridge Invest, Renaissance Capital and Wood and Co were appointed as Coordinators and Lead Managers under the IPO. All other AIX trading members had access and participated in the Book-building process. The main focus of AIX was on the retail investor base where direct subscription was available through the AIX Tabys application and outlets of JSC “KazPost”.

“About 96% of IPO allocation went to the local both retail and institutional investors’ base. We consider the participation of retail investors via our direct subscription solution realized via Tabys and the branch network of JSC “Kazpost” as a great achievement – almost 6,000 applications amounting to more than KZT1 bn were received.”
