The Astana International Exchange (AIX) and Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) have agreed to create a framework for investors to access each other’s stock markets. This agreement enables bilateral trading between the two exchanges through the Tabadul Digital Exchange Hub platform (Tabadul/Tabadul Hub) developed by the ADX.
In July 2022, ADX introduced Tabadul Hub as the inaugural digital exchange center in the region. Tabadul operates on a mutual market access model, establishing a digital exchange network for member exchanges to trade regionally and globally. In its entirety, Tabadul aims to improve cooperation and increase liquidity in the participating markets, by enabling trading across the markets.
On June 7, 2023, AIX revealed its agreement with ADX to become a member of the Tabadul Hub. With AIX’s inclusion in Tabadul, the platform’s reach and functionalities will be enhanced, providing investors with a smoother and more effective trading environment.
Tabadul facilitates remote access for brokerage firms affiliated with the exchanges, reinforcing their dedication to fostering stronger relationships and promoting collaboration.
