AIX is looking for a highly qualified and passionate Market Operations Analyst with a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or IT along with substantial experience in stock market, investment, or portfolio management. Responsibilities
Operational responsibilities:
- Daily implementation of system start-up and end-of-day procedures;
- Create, update and maintain all static data (related to market participants, traded instruments, trading calendar and etc.) across the various AIX systems (trading platform and surveillance systems);
- Monitor trading sessions to ensure a fair and orderly trading;
- Manage technical emergencies and communication to market participants in case of technical issues;
- Provide the high-level business operations support, assistance and information to market participants and business partners including brokerage houses, data vendors, post-trade operators;
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support;
- Day-to-day communication, interface and business development with data vendors;
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new system releases (trading and surveillance) releases;
- Processing of periodic Qazaq Index reviews;
- Preparing different types of documents, including reports, contracts etc.
- Preparing regular (monthly) reporting as well as ad hoc requests;
- Preparing all tasks on time and submit reports to Head.
- Implementation of new project at all levels of testing.
Onboarding responsibilities:
- Onboarding of new AIX participants: checking and tracking required documentation and processes;
- Accompaniment of onboarding process by providing fast and proper responses for potential Participants;
- Providing detailed explanations of further testing procedures for potential Participants.
Project works:
- Undertake short-term or long-term projects (from research phase up until execution) based on new products/services;
- Preparation of reports, stats, presentations according to given project;
- Conducting project management workflow by keeping the set of deadlines;
- Cooperation with other team members for resolution of issues and goals;
Requirements
- Past exposure to highly automated working environments;
- Solid knowledge of financial markets;
- Attention to details;
- Ability to prioritize work;
- Experience with data reporting and data analytics;
- Advanced Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel). Candidates might be requested to take an Excel test;
- Team player with high resistance to stressful situations and open to flexible working hours arrangements;
- BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences, Economics, or equivalent;
- Master’s degree and professional certification would be a plus;
- Experience with FIX protocol messages, BBG Terminal would be a plus.
- Good communication, problem solving, leadership and project management skills would be a plus.
