ETFs are exchange traded funds. By purchasing an ETF share (unit), investors receive a ready-made and diversified portfolio monitored for quality by professional fund managers. The first ETFs on the AIX appeared in August and September 2019.
ITI Funds Russia-Focused USD Eurobond UCITS ETF SICAV reflects a portfolio of USD Eurobonds of Russian issuers, while ITI Funds RTS Equity UCITS ETF A USD reflects a portfolio of Russian companies’ shares on the RTS index (the major ETF shares are from Sberbank, Gazprom and LUKOIL). Both funds are listed on London and Moscow stock exchanges. At the end of 2019, their price increased by 15% and 42%, respectively.
